Production Power Buy-out

In October 2008 SXS Events bought out leading event power provider Production Power .

SXS Managing Director Johnny Palmer says "SXS has always been quite good on power distro, but the purchase of Production Power's stock makes us one of the largest providers of event power services in the UK."

SXS acquired many kilometres of 63-amp three-phase, 32-amp three-phase, 125-amp three-phase, Powerlok and 16amp cable. Over 30 additional distribution boards have now been added to the SXS power stock.

SXS purchased Production Power on an "asset and goodwill" basis. The legal entity of Production Power is neither the property, responsibility, or liability of SXS Events or any of its subsidaries or directors.

Production Power traded as Production Power Oxford and was run by Liam Kelly. The company previously provided their services to events such as the Rose Tree Jam and The Sanctuary Festival.
